Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Sit-down, Reach, and Clamp) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and logging stock movements.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse floor to optimize storage space and accessibility.
- Perform minor maintenance and cleaning duties on forklifts and work areas.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating high-reach forklifts is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
