Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and logging stock movements.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and equipment maintenance checks.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping and receiving processes.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator License (must be valid and current).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and navigating uneven terrain.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA regulations.
