Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload trucks and move inventory efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and documentation systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and warehouse operational procedures
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet deadlines
- Support warehouse cleanliness and organization standards
- Assist in training new hires on equipment operation and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Valid OSHA Forklift Operator certification (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends if needed
- Clean pre-employment background check and drug screen required
