Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials within warehouse and dock areas
- Load/unload shipping containers and trucks using proper rigging techniques
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and warehouse organization
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Collaborate with receiving/shipping teams to ensure timely operations
- Operate pallet jacks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 1910.178)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
