Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in warehouse and yard environments
- Accurately load/unload trucks and containers while adhering to weight distribution protocols
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using our WMS system
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Strictly enforce OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Assist with warehouse organization and 5S compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of certified forklift operation experience (valid certification required)
- OSHA Forklift Operator certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
