Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, Pallet Jack) safely to load, unload, and move materials.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Organize warehouse inventory and maintain accurate stock records.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
- Report any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (certification required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not always required for the right candidate.
