Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Inventory Management: Accurately record inventory movements and maintain accurate stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area, ensuring proper storage of products and equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and meet daily targets.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and inventory sheets, with high attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFOT) or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on details and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
