Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move, locate, and stack merchandise efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of the forklift and work area.
- Load and unload materials from trailers, pallets, and shelves with precision.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and ensure proper documentation is completed.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as directed by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Entry Level Candidates Welcome: Must be willing to obtain forklift certification if not currently certified.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
