Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate inventory counts and stock replenishment to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in the picking, packing, and staging of customer orders with speed and accuracy.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Driver's License: Valid Texas Driver's License.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure inventory accuracy and safety checks.
