Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all forklift equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Handle material handling equipment and safety gear with care and responsibility.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse floor to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must hold a current and valid operator certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional forklift operation experience.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- OSHA Knowledge: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety procedures.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if required.
