Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and document stock movements using warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Handle freight and materials with care to prevent damage and ensure workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (CDL preferred but not always required for standard Class 1/3).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime.
