What You Will Do:
As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring that inventory is moved safely and efficiently to meet our client's demands.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Order Picker, and Sit-Down Forklift) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and identify potential hazards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Verify inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and checking shipping/receiving documents.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and production targets.
- Assist in the organization of the warehouse floor to optimize workflow and reduce bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred but training available).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a post-offer background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended shifts.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
