Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organize and stack pallets safely to maximize storage space and prevent damage to goods.
- Perform routine inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies while performing duties.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory management.
