Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe, working order.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in strict accordance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies regarding material handling.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including packaging, labeling, and order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating stand-up or sit-down forklifts.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and handling digital paperwork.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, climate-controlled warehouse environment.
