Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve merchandise within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely manner, ensuring cargo security and proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging, counting, and organizing stock according to established protocols.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding workplace safety and equipment operation.
- Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure forklifts are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required. We provide paid on-the-job training for certified candidates.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification (training provided upon hire).
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging inventory data.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and climbing ladders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
