Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and transported without damage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in designated areas.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in proper working condition.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (CPLP or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
