Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock counts using warehouse management software.
- Ensure strict adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse flow and maintain a clean workspace.
- Perform general warehouse duties including palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and organizing stock.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) or valid forklift license required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and hazard communication.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
