Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) to move, stack, and organize inventory efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate documentation and proper safety protocols during transit.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance and functionality.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts, maintaining accurate stock records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with warehouse organization and layout improvements as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (valid license required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or forklift operation.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
