Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to load, unload, move, and store products in the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks before each shift.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain organized storage areas.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Package, label, and prepare shipments for outbound delivery.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Assist in training new hires on proper equipment handling and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Forklift License) required; Class A/B CDL is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and warehouse operations.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and shipping labels.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred.
