Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and maintenance checks.
- Verify inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts and ensuring stock is properly organized on racks and shelves.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Properly tag, label, and document all incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking systems.
