Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of machinery to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock placement.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Clean work areas and organize storage zones to maintain a safe environment.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding logistics needs.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (CDL preferred, but internal training available).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is a plus.
- Valid driver's license (if required for site access).
