Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by staging, tagging, and placing products in designated storage areas.
- Perform routine safety checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (OSHA compliant) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety instructions and inventory labels.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (for stand-up forklift operations).
