In this role, you will ensure the efficient movement of materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold the highest safety standards in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Keep warehouse aisles organized, clean, and free of obstructions.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification.
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
