Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated storage areas to ensure optimal space utilization and safety.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment for proper functioning and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Perform daily quality checks on shipments and maintain accurate inventory logs.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (valid license required for the specific equipment operated).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
