Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and documenting stock movements in the warehouse management system.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials and heavy machinery.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Organize and stack pallets in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization and prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet shipping deadlines and optimize daily workflow.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (CDL or specific forklift certification required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with warehouse software.
