Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely throughout the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist in packing, labeling, and preparing shipments for distribution.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to undergo paid training to obtain forklift certification.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or tablets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred but not always required for entry-level).
- Valid driver's license (if applicable for local transport).
