Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse/dock settings
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Safely stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas
- Assist in unloading inbound shipments and preparing outbound orders
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and overtime shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent required
