Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform daily forklift maintenance checks to ensure operational readiness
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Assist in warehouse organization and dock operations during peak hours
- Train new hires on safe material handling practices
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year of industrial forklift experience in a warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM) with weekends as needed
