Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues immediately
- Manage inventory counts using RF scanners and maintain accurate warehouse records
- Collaborate with night crew supervisors to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE requirements and OSHA standards
- Assist in warehouse organization, stacking, and proper storage of materials
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license with 1+ years of experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and documentation
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
