Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload palletized goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns immediately
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and documentation processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflow and productivity
- Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing materials in designated storage areas
- Complete accurate paperwork and digital records for all material movements
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and ability to work independently during night shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
