Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload containers and trailers
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols in all operations
- Collaborate with night shift team to optimize workflow and productivity
- Secure and organize materials in designated storage areas
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Flexibility to work night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid California driver's license
