Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move pallets of goods in a high-volume warehouse environment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Accurately track inventory using barcode scanning systems and digital logs
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet nightly shipping deadlines
- Optimize stacking patterns to maximize storage efficiency
- Support warehouse cleanliness and organization standards
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of industrial forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Clear communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
