Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload shipments safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
- Verify inventory counts and document material movements using warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas following OSHA and company standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and report any equipment or safety concerns immediately
- Assist in training new team members on equipment operations and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts (sit-down and stand-up models)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible night shift schedules
- Preferred experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments
