Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts to efficiently move, load, and unload palletized goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Strictly adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company inventory control procedures
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Assist in warehouse organization and space optimization during off-peak hours
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse/distribution settings
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and overtime as needed
