Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a high-volume warehouse environment
- Accurately load/unload trailers and stage inventory for shipping/receiving
- Maintain detailed logs of inventory movements and equipment inspections
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including PPE usage and equipment pre-shift checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet nightly production targets
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report malfunctions promptly
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of industrial forklift experience in warehouse settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Flexibility to work 10-hour shifts (6 PM - 4:30 AM) including weekends
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
