Job Overview:
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. We are looking for a self-starter who adheres to strict safety protocols and takes pride in maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials to designated storage areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on all equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and update stock management systems (WMS).
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in the packaging and preparation of orders for outbound shipping.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Must be provided at time of interview).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to work the Night Shift consistently with a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Physical stamina required to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
