Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently
- Verify inventory counts and document transactions in warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors
- Load/unload trucks using proper stacking and securing techniques
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory system operation
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends as needed
