Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and stack inventory safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload trucks accurately, verifying counts against shipping manifests.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to ensure optimal workflow and safety.
- Assist with inventory management including stock replenishment and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) reliably.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory handling.
- Basic computer skills for logging data and using warehouse management systems.
