Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse settings
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs to supervisors
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized workspaces
- Support cross-functional departments as needed during peak hours
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse/distribution environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and ability to work night shift consistently
