Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load/unload trucks and transport goods
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Support warehouse operations during peak production hours
- Participate in cross-training for other warehouse functions as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Flexibility to work nights (10 PM - 6 AM) with overtime potential
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
