We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can operate machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Organize inventory, stock shelves, and ensure accurate stock counts using inventory management systems.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Clean and maintain the warehouse floor, including sweeping and organizing pallets.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless workflow transitions.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to read and understand safety labels and operational manuals.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
