Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move, locate, and place materials.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets in a timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Verify and count stock items to ensure accuracy and maintain inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized and ensure proper labeling of pallets and shelves.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts (Day, Swing, or Graveyard).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
- Background Check: Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred but not strictly required for entry-level operators.
