Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight onto and from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Inspect forklifts and warehouse equipment daily to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Verify and count inventory accurately, logging data into the warehouse management system.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to pass a forklift certification exam upon hiring.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
