Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Organize and manage inventory in warehouse storage areas using systematic tracking methods
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate loading/unloading schedules and workflow optimization
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times
- Assist in warehouse cleaning and organization tasks to maintain a safe work environment
- Complete daily logs and documentation of operations accurately
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (provided by company)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
