Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate records of stock movements using warehouse management software.
- Assist in the preparation of orders, ensuring that products are packaged correctly and labeled for shipment.
- Perform routine safety checks on equipment before and after each shift to ensure machinery is in proper working order.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to operate heavy machinery.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to complete forklift certification training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory counting.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
