Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure all safety mechanisms are functioning correctly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and verifying stock counts against warehouse management systems.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures to minimize risk.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure shipments are processed within the agreed-upon timeframes.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free at all times.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: A valid Driver's License (Class C or higher) is required.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Attitude: Willingness to learn new equipment and a strong commitment to safety protocols.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to understand safety signs and inventory labels.
