Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload shipments onto and off of trailers, racks, and shelves using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and stock incoming merchandise to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Material Handling: Transport materials to designated storage areas, ensuring proper organization and space utilization.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts and reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required for this entry-level role.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills.
