Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in verifying inventory counts and ensuring accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by promptly removing debris and organizing inventory.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure machinery is in proper working order.
- Order Fulfillment: Support the fulfillment process by picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday) and some weekday shifts.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Documentation: Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
- Learning Ability: A quick learner with a strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- License: Valid driver's license is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
