Responsibilities
- Operate electric and propane forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with warehouse team to organize inventory and optimize storage space
- Document all material movements and maintain accurate inventory records
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and coordinating delivery schedules
- Participate in cross-functional tasks to support overall warehouse operations
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required—comprehensive training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and measurement
- Valid government-issued photo ID and reliable transportation
- Willingness to obtain OSHA forklift certification upon hire
