Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and stage materials according to shipping schedules and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and resolve logistical challenges.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator License (CLP/HAZMAT preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management software.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
